These lights are very bright and install in 10 minutes including soldering and shrinking time. They use a 3m red tape backing. Just apply it to a clean surface and they will stay there until you decide to remove them. The wires are very thin so use heat shrink tubing over the installation for extra strength. great product at a low price. they went for 94 fxsts to which i added hard bags. I kept breaking the stock lens caps due to the vibration of the turn signals mounted on the soft rear riding mount. There are no issues with them, they only weigh 2 ounces each with a wire. I placed them just under the saddlebag lid and routed the wire around the bracket and under the fender, took the single wire for the hot wire, then laid the round fitting on the floor and bolted it to the fender post. works wonderfully.
