Easy to use and therapeutic

I don't know why I waited until I was 40 to try one of these. It's pretty cool. I had the idea that the percussion was really painful and intense, but it really wasn't. I found it more therapeutic when pressed lightly than when pressed very hard. So it's easy to charge. In fact, mine mostly came already charged. I plugged it into a USB port and it was up and running in less than an hour. You know it's fully charged when the green light is on and not blinking. Nozzles are inserted into the slot on the gun. There are four different vibration levels. The instructions state that it should not be used over the neck or over the bones, as well as under certain contraindications. To be honest, you immediately realize that you're trying to do it in the restricted area because it's not good at all. I have a lot of bony areas around my shoulders and collarbones and I feel terrible there. Similarly, trying to use this too close to my head will cause my teeth to chatter in my head, so it's pretty much self-limiting. Seems to be a pretty safe tool. Pleasant to touch. I don't know how else to describe it. It's both invigorating and calming and weird at the same time. I've used it on tight leg, arm and trapezius muscles and it's been great. Also sorry about TMI, but lightly applying it to the stomach/abdominal area has improved my digestion and elimination. All nozzles are great but the foam ball doesn't work on clothes. In fact, I prefer all of the other attachments to the foam ball because they just sort of glide across the surface, while the foam ball (that's the technical term now) kind of gets stuck, grabbing the clothes and piling them up. How rough The handle is a bit thick for a small hand as shown in my photo. I still had no trouble holding it and it wasn't really uncomfortable. But yes. It's just a big cylinder, not a real pen. However, it seems that most of these devices are made this way. The fact that they are wireless is very convenient. I used this for a good 15 minutes and the power light was still green meaning I was using very little battery. What could make it better? A bag to put all the attachments, gun and USB cable in because it's pretty stupid to put them back in the box and they get lost.

Pros
  • Back Massagers
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
