I needed to install a new wood stove along with a heavy Viking stove that must weigh several hundred pounds. Before ordering them, it took three of us to maneuver the oven into place in the counter on the old floor, even with the grilles and door removed. I obviously didn't want to damage the new floor and was concerned about the pressure we were putting on 4ft. By placing one of these pads under each foot, I was able to pull the plate out and reinsert it multiple times on my own. After all the work was done I had to push the oven but then remove those toppings. I ended up drilling holes in the back two and threading the cord through them. I tilted the stove forward and pulled out both pillows. I then tilted the oven backwards and pulled out the two front pads - oven built in, no marks on the floor, much cheaper than renting a furniture lift which I couldn't find to rent anyway.
