I bought them before I had a baby after birth. I was also given some pads to take home from the hospital and they ended up being the same brand and style as the ones I got at the hospital. They absorb moisture very well, but my only complaint is that they don't have wings. With so much bleeding I'd rather have wings, especially as it's very hard to stick anything on hospital linen! (But these mesh underwear are THE BEST, FYI. I had an unexpected cesarean). These pads do everything they advertise and I prefer them to something like Depends which are a lot more expensive. But next time I'll take the longest, heaviest pads with wings I can find.
