Review on CEC Industries EF32RL Flasher by Deshaun Fisher

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Depresses immediately and then turns off without delay. Works with 100% LED.

The vehicle these two turn signals were fitted to was a '96 Dodge Ram pickup with 100% LED headlights. The old turn signals didn't work with the new LEDs. The new turn signals work great with a distinct click; There is no delay when turn signals or hazard warning lights go out. I suspect the latency issues mentioned by other reviewers are due to poor grounding. The lack of a good connection can cause the electronics to do strange things. The photo shows I'm grounded to the frame of the fuse box. super easy. I drilled a hole and then scraped the area around the hole to make sure it was a very clean surface for good metal to metal contact. I then used a short sheet metal screw I found in a tool box to secure the wires coming out of the turn signal. Blinkers only worked when connected to ground. The problem I had was a harness on the truck was wired backwards so I swapped two sockets in the fuse box and the turn signal worked. Light. The final hurdle was the fuse panel cover, which didn't quite fit the larger turn signals, so I cut the bulge off the panel (as seen in the second picture) and that gave enough room to reattach the panel. The work from start to finish took about 15 minutes. Very easy. Works great with my 100% LED bulbs. Looks good too. Nobody can see the changes made. Only a professional viewer will notice.
