They can be used both wet and dry! They are great for quickly wiping down dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. I have Corelle dishes, these cloths will not scratch or damage the surface. They are also great for ceramic-coated pans, cleaning them without scratching them. I like durability; I stopped buying paper towels because of the amount of waste they create and the many trees cut down to make them, so I looked for alternatives that were more sustainable. They actually work better than paper towels for spills etc. They're great for spills, wiping countertops and stove tops, or cleaning. I also liked the idea that they are round. I find they are larger than I would have personally preferred, wish there was a smaller version. I knew that when I bought it, but I couldn't find the round one in the smaller version. With a set of 6, you can have some in the wash and others clean and ready to go! I wish they came in brighter and nicer prints.
