Can replace filter

I don't know what to do about it. The new one is on the left and the old one is on the right. I can tell you personally that the new filter has more paper while the old one had more carbon and was stiffer. I usually smell the old model's "new" frame filter and the freshness it gave. Not exactly new. I drive 80 miles a day one way, I'm stuck in heavy traffic, and having a charcoal filter was important to me since I have windows closed and A/C or heat on. The photo is an old model, I don't know when it was changed. While I don't think it's a bad filter, and I'm sure it still does its job well, it didn't completely block the odor from the particular section of dam I'm traveling on. that brackish water can have an unpleasant smell. On the old model he blocked it 90% and on this one 75%. A person's nose is ambiguous, but I have a good sense of smell. The percentage could be a bit lower, but I didn't think of that either. I will still buy it again as it's better than nothing.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires outlet
