So I got my new iPhone 12 mini and was looking for the best way to mount my phone in the car. It seemed like a super easy fix. It fits my vents well and holds tight, although it makes the vent wings heavier so I lose some control over the direction of the vent, but that's not a big issue. The bigger issue is that the iPhone 12 mini is so small and light that this holder barely holds it in place. The phone can't push it all the way down and it definitely doesn't hold onto the sides, although the sides are closed far enough to hold the phone. If the side arms were a bit smaller I don't think any more changes would be needed to be honest. It just didn't take a lot of pressure to hold the phone. All in all, this is a good holder. Just not so good for small phones. Update: I got my Magsafe wallet and was hoping this would fix the weight issue, but it actually makes the phone too thick to mount. I suspect most cases will help in this situation.
