Review on 🖨️ Efficient Lexmark C5240MH High Yield Return Program Laser Toner: Magenta, 5k Yld for Lexmark C524/C532/C534 by Ben Chase

Be careful! I bought this toner as a "new" cartridge from a dealer in December 2015. I just installed it today (August 2016) and now there are yellow stripes on each side. Since this is an original Lexmark sealed cartridge/box, I called Lexmark Technical Support and they were very helpful. After troubleshooting by changing the photoconductor units, we located the problem in this toner cartridge. The tech support representative asked for the serial number of the cartridge I provided that identified the problem. The serial number showed the cartridge was manufactured in 2009 which means it was OVER 7 YEARS old when I bought it and Lexmark tells me toner cartridges only have a 5 YEAR shelf life. When they sold it to me it was over 2 years old! If you are wondering why this seller is offering such a good price, this could be the reason. You think you're getting a new cartridge, and you are. except it's been 2 years so you're buying crap. At least that's what happened to me. The old adage "you get what you pay for" seems to apply. 1/2 the purchase price direct from the Lexmark website but not worth it.
