To start with, I wanted to buy a couple of cables for a few applications, short studio connections and also for office listening. Both benefit from excellent, well-made serial cables. What I mean by consistency is that two two meter cables are as close to the same electrical characteristics as possible. I inspect and measure (not size, distance, but resistance and voltage/current flow and RFI/EMI) cables before connecting them to any of my devices so the cables don't introduce artifacts that negatively affect the sound. Path. Here's what I found. The cables are very stable so in stereo applications (L/R) with two of their cables I had no channel imbalance, there was no outside noise and the sound was very clear with minimal resistance. The build quality is great but my use case is to install it and use it for the office and use it in the studio is to patch, use until the end of sessions and then connect for a future session. So I hope the ends last a while. The cable is very stiff, so when you first unravel it, make sure it's straight, and then shape it at the right angle, avoid sharp 90 degree angles. Does it improve the sound compared to some very expensive cables that cost at least $10-$100 a foot? In some cases yes. Some of my expensive cables are thinner, more prone to EMI and RFI noise, as well as that horrible cell phone modem noise. I have filters for this via shielded wire, but that adds another $5 or more per foot of shielding in bulk. Conclusion: You can't go wrong with these cables. They are well built, had no issues with the termination jacks and sound excellent with minimal noise added to the audio chain. I will continue to buy them as needed as long as they keep making them. Hope that helps.
