I'll easily give this Logitech stylus five stars, although I really like the (overpriced) 2nd Gen Apple Pencil for the 2018 iPad. This is due to a number of factors. First, the price is much more acceptable (almost double). Second, the shape of the pen's barrel (smooth, with a flat shape on each side and an elliptical curve on each side with the slightest hint of a metallic "grip") is quite comfortable and perhaps allows for a greater degree of control. when performing various tasks. Third, the stylus does not require a Bluetooth connection like the Apple Pencil. It has a premium look and feel, and I don't suspect any functional or structural issues should develop over time (it feels as solid as an Apple Pencil, despite having orange chunks on each end). I happened to check out the Logitech website and found that they sell both replacement earbuds and device protectors, which is a nice touch. So I use both the Apple Pencil and this Logitech Pencil and I'm happy with both for different reasons. The stylus requires charging (a full charge takes about 30 minutes), which is accomplished by opening the orange top cap at the end of the stylus and attaching the Lightning cable to it. So far, the only downside I've found is that you can't connect an Apple Pencil and a Logitech Pencil to an iPad at the same time; it is one or the other. But it's not really a big deal and I can give this Logitech pen my highest recommendation. It's very comfortable to use, and I switch between the two pens depending on what I'm doing (writing, dotting, coloring, etc.).
