Excellent fast external hard drive
Damn fast. I'm using an Alienware 13 with a Thunderbolt 3 port, and while it was a bit difficult to set it up for Windows 10, the support staff were great at getting me the information I needed. Their website turned out to be unusable for this. Please note that it is formatted for Apple, so not plug and play for Windows. It comes with USB-CC and USB-CA cables. It doesn't seem to get very hot, and it also comes with a wall-mounted power adapter. It is not powered by USB. To give you an idea of the speed, on my Windows 7 computer with a 1TB WD My Book hard drive, backing up my Documents folder took almost an hour. Using a BlackBox Pro and my Windows 10 PC, the same thing took no more than 15 minutes.
