Review on 📞 VTech CS6429-4 4-Handset DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone: Answering System, Caller ID | Expandable up to 5 Handsets | Wall-Mountable | Silver/Black by Marina Knutson

I am very happy with the features and performance of this phone. However, I bought it with the intention of mounting it on our kitchen wall. As you can see in the attached images, the wall mount is ridiculously tall (about 5-1/2 inches tall) and outshines the phone base, which is only about 2-1/2 inches tall. This thing is going to be an eyesore if I hang it on the wall as is. The base of the phone is lightweight and attaches fairly securely to the top of the mount. I think I'll modify the bracket by cutting off the bottom 3 inches so it doesn't hang under the base. Update: I went ahead and cut off the bottom of the bracket with a miter saw. I used two wood screws to secure the remaining top of the bracket to the wall of the closet and then installed the phone's base onto the bracket. I am now completely satisfied with my purchase and have raised my rating from four to five stars.
