Review on πŸ”ͺ Wusthof Classic 8-Inch Black Cook's Knife: Exceptional Quality and Versatility by Tonya Fisher

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This thing is a beast

This knife is something special - your guests may not have seen a knife this size before (it's not comically large, just decently large). However, where it shines with form, it also fulfills function - the weight of this blade gives you much more freedom to cut quickly and the reel makes it less intimidating to use. There are probably more stylish options out there, but by no means is this line or knife purely utilitarian. I haven't tried it on zucchini, melons, or large chunks of meat, but you'll find a knife of this size here. useful according to other reviewers. Unless you're trying to make do with a single chef's knife (which is by no means unwise), I believe you'll get more done with a 10-inch blade than an 8-inch blade, since smaller knives can do finer jobs. If you want your chef's knife to shine as you slice and dice, and don't mind the flair of a large blade, then this is the blade for you.
