I have a 2016 RAV4 XLE and leave it in economy mode all the time. I don't think I really noticed the extra performance of this filter, or if I did, it could just be my imagination. I always pay close attention to the mileage I'm getting and I've noticed an increase of maybe around 3mpg on the freeway. City traffic shows no improvement. I think I used to average around 27, maybe 28 mpg on the freeway at around 75-80 mph, but now average around 30, sometimes around 31 mpg at the same speed. I am happy with the performance and quality of the filter and am confident that it will save me money over the life of my machine.
