Bought to fill in the missing for a new shirt. They're not quite the same as the original, but since they're legible, you won't be able to tell them apart unless you look very closely. I won't know about endurance for a while. The only issue I had was that I had purchased "also bought together" pliers to install the clasps. The top of the latch is smaller than the tong holder part and does not remain inside; The lower part of the ring is too big and will jump out of the pliers. I solved this problem by using a tiny bead of poster putty to attach one and poking the pins through the fabric and then sliding the pliers over the tab so the fabric held the tab in place. About every 50 years I use a latch kit to replace a latch. I couldn't find my old one so I bought this one. I'm sure next time I need it (if I can find it) it will still be strong.
