I'm a student and need an inexpensive, stable and light case. This case has it all! Extremely light, even with a 12.9-inch iPad Pro. I installed a tempered glass screen protector, so no screen protector is required. In return, I get quick access to the screen when needed (no need to open the case to use the screen). The last item is the Apple Pencil holder. The pencil slot is just right (not too loose and not too stiff) and you can slip your pencil in securely. I used the same style of case on my old iPad for years before switching to the iPad Pro and it has never disappointed me. The previous case remains the same until the day I gave it away. I'm not rough on my devices, but I love the peace of mind of knowing they're protected so I can afford to be more productive with an iPad this size. You won't regret your purchase if you don't like the slim look.
