Unfortunately this is not a very good product. It's very cheaply made. The metal block, the cutting part, has no nicks on the edges, making it difficult to rip off the top of the coconut when trying to open it. I have used Coco Jack before, a product introduced to me by my friend. I couldn't find it at Revain so I went with this one. I thought they were the same but no. The head of the included hammer came off the first time I used it and nearly hit me in the face. My recommendation to the designer of this product: just do it right, and if it costs more, get more. Otherwise don't worry. I don't mind paying more. Quality and shelf life are important for this type of product as it is used to break open the hard shell of the coconut. In general, save money or look for the best option.
