Review on πŸ“± Black S-View Flip Cover Case for Samsung Galaxy Note10+ (US Version) with Warranty by Rebecca Carey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Stylish and functional

I used the S-View wireless case once for my Galaxy S4. I've since upgraded to LG V10 and V20 which had an always-on ticker which I found useful. I had a Note 9 and had a battery case without a lemon, but this Note 10+ got terrible reception with an equally sleek body. I've been looking around the stores to see if they have an S-View case for the Note 10+ and found it. It differs from the Galaxy S4, instead of having a window in the middle, this one on the edge and on the side. Not a big deal since you can see your notifications and time/date/battery at a glance. It's basically a larger version of the V-Series always-on ticker screen. Turning on the lock screen so it's always on uses about 1% battery per hour. This energy saving method basically updates the display every minute or until a notification arrives. To reduce screen burn-in, each update shifts the clock and notifications a few pixels to the right or left. In the end, I really save battery because as soon as the lid is closed and you're not using any background applications, it immediately goes into a deep sleep state, and even under heavy use, my phone is used as an electronics journal, for example, also plays through music for a 10-hour commute Patchy cellular coverage, I finish my shift with 40% battery or better. It would be almost dead if I use a regular case and let the screen turn off by itself. Protection is minimal, maybe some edge protection and scratch resistance, but the profile doesn't get in the way of the antennas and I get better reception in places too. areas compared to a thicker case. If you've used flip-top cases before, it's the same. If you're new to them, it's worth a try!

Pros
  • Simple design
Cons
  • I don't really like anything, everything is fine
