Good product but the instructions provided were difficult to follow and lacked clarity for the LCD settings. I went to You Tube for general information. I found it's a good idea to call customer service first. You were wonderful. The 500w model with extra headroom is perfect for a two person tandem bike. I set the set limiter to 32 km/h (20 mph, the required limit in New York State) and this keeps the bike speed at the highest set level, within the cadence our feet can handle in top gear. . Works together with a Joyisi 36V, 12.5Ah battery. I had to replace the stock shifters with a SRAM MRX Comp 21 Spd kit so I could install the brake levers from the kit. An integrated safety switch in the brake levers is safety-critical. The total weight of the tires pictured is 70 lbs. Front 33 pounds, rear 37 pounds. With my wife and I the combined weight is 380 pounds. I first had to ask the seller for help with error 07 through their website. They responded quickly and helped. The S830 LCD showed codes 8 and 10 and the bike's motor stopped working properly. Apparently the rear wheel drive is out of order. Support advised me to replace the motor and send back the first set. When I received the new kit I replaced the S830 hub motor and LCD. Now it works correctly. I've also found that the S830's new LCD is more responsive to programming codes and doesn't display random text when powered on. Little did I know the first LCD had a problem too. I sent the first set back and EFE said they would refund my order. Good service.
