I have boxes of slides and this handy little device makes sorting and checking slides easy. One thing I did was buy a 110v adapter that has a nice steady light. I also found that I could insert a slide, place my cellphone on the viewer's lens, center it, and instantly get a beautiful digital copy without having to send the slides in for copying. The case keeps the phone level so focus stays clear. It's much better than dragging the slide projector to view your slides. Much better than the little cube you have to hold to turn it on to view.
