The ribbons need to be sewn up around the edges to keep them from unraveling.
I love the size, color and feel of the leather. What I don't like is the strap and the metal clasp. I've only used it once and the straps have started to unravel around the edges. Straps are thin. When I wear it on my shoulder, the outer strap doesn't rest on my shoulder, it keeps falling on my arm; very annoying. The metal clasp is weak. I will be returning this item for a full refund.
