Review on 🚲 Topeak Front Bike Basket Fixer 3: A Stylish and Functional Storage Solution for Your Bicycle by Carlos Deuschle

I've been using Citi Bikes in Manhattan for two weeks now and on the first day I noticed that my jacket and the food I take to lunch get crushed when I it tighten the Citi Rack Bike with an elastic cable. This basket with a green bungee cord and an orange bungee cord from the TEKTON 6229 Bungee Cord Set 12 pack is all I need to mount the basket to the front of "my" Citi bike. Initially I was concerned that the center of gravity of the bike is so far forward, but bikes are sooooo heavy that the bike still handles well. I'll try to post pictures of how I set up the basket. That's easy. Simply place the bar on the top rear edge of the basket over the two protruding pins on the bike rack and tie the basket with the elastic cords. I also mounted a Fenix MC11 on the front of the basket for evening lighting. Finally, a shoulder strap (recycled from an old holdall) can be used to carry the basket over the shoulder. I walked a mile between my house and the S-Bahn station with my basket slung comfortably over my shoulder. By the way, I did not put any fasteners on the basket.
