Fun & Thoughtful

My son loves playing with these toys. Most notably, he likes to take them apart and take the fish off the pattern board while I put them back and put everything back together. I like that the ringed rod folds down for an ocean set when pushed to one side. I removed it anyway because I don't want my son to fall on it (it's small for toys like this) but I left the rest of the sets. The wooden rings are painted and it's one of the best paint finishes I've seen. It's a little worn, but the paint isn't peeling off, even after a month of fairly brutal play. Unfortunately, the jungle set isn't designed that way, so these poles are sticking up, waiting for the kid to fall on them. For older children. Cups are folded into a tower and also inserted into each other. The Ocean set has small holes, the number of which is 8 depending on the size of the stack. The jungle set counts as numbers and also contains the letters AJ. I wish they were a little more color coordinated so that when folded they would form a sort of rainbow. The fish board is decent but looks like the plywood will delaminate over time. The jungle board I received is better made but might run into the same problem. It's made in China - the box looks like it's made in Brooklyn, but it actually says the factory is in Yinzhou, Ningbo, China.
