it just works best in laptop accessories

Works well with my Lenovo X1 Carbon (5th Gen I think). I've had issues with other USB-C and Thunderbolt 2 hubs on my laptop, except for the expensive Lenovo Thunderbolt 2 hub. But I plugged this one in and it worked without any driver updates or anything. Passing power with my Lenovo-type USB-C charger also works.
