The battery isolator is a great idea.

I used this to add another battery to my GMC Denali, Yukon and Suburban short circuited. I noticed they dropped the dual battery system for 2009 but kept the battery holder with extra wire, fuses and this item. I now have a dual battery system in my 2009 GMC Denali.

Pros
