This tripod is absolute junk and simply falls apart without provocation. Also, the tripod is so cheap and of poor quality that it's actually too light to support the weight of the ring light on it, making it insanely easy to tip over as it's heavy and unbalanced. There are no locks or clips to keep the telescoping poles at the correct height. Also, the real halo looks like it was glued to the stand and once adjusted to the correct height, it just fell apart. The halo ring detached from the stand when the tripod rods collapsed, and there's no way to put it back in. This is my second ring light purchase and absolutely NOT worth the money. I bought a similar item from another seller last March and its telescopic tripod has locking clips for height adjustment, it never tips over and works much harder. I am so disappointed. I used it to record lessons for my students and my son used it to record his college video assignments for his sign language class.
