The only reason I keep buying them is because my autistic son has sensitive feet and this is a brand and similar model that he wears from a young age. But with every pair the quality gets worse and worse. The last one had inserts completely worn out within 2-3 months so we bought other inserts but other parts inside started ripping out bit by bit and it's only after 6 months I can see his toe through the boot. Completely unacceptable. . This is the real reason our planet is polluted: Manufacturers make disposable items that use up precious resources to make them, ship them, package them, and then after a few lean months they end up in a landfill. And these are not cheap shoes. I'm seriously considering learning how to make shoes. They are built to our specific foot shape and are much cheaper after an initial investment in tools/materials and will last for many years. If the soles are made from bicycle tire material, they will never wear out. It seems to me that food manufacturers are now competing on how long they can fool us before we realize they are mocking us. Updating new shoes we bought less than six months ago - same rubbish. Now the insides are so torn that the plastic heel is sticking out and the son has corns. That's all. We'll be looking into another brand as I don't have time to learn how to make ours right now.
