These are what I would generically call a pasta bowl, although they can be used for so many other things. I love this shape of dish, it's sort of a hybrid between a plate and a bowl, and is wonderful for serving anything saucy as it will keep the food closer together and the sauce evenly distributed. I prefer to serve salads in this type of dish as well.This set of 2 pasta bowls comes in a crisp clean white with an elegant shape. They have a sturdy build with a medium weight to them - I can easily set the 2 of them on a high shelf with no trouble, but could not if there was a set of 4. I think they are gorgeous and will look so beautiful filled with brightly colored pastas, pretty salads, and vibrant vegetable side dishes.
