used to be worth the price.I don't know about now.

We bought this slide a couple years ago, I believe it was Christmas of 2018 or '19. If memory serves, it was a bit of a bear to set up. We had an issue with the capped nuts when screwing this thing together; they didn't quite fit right, but my husband kind of forced them down and they worked sufficiently (although probably not as intended). As someone with photos showed in their review, there was some lightening from the plastic kind of straining in places after the kids spend some time on the slide, but it didn't seem to effect the function or integrity of the slide. The slide lived inside for the first couple years of life, then moved out side where it's been since. This thing is still holding strong. I agree that it can seem a little shaky if you have kids that like to rock at the top and test its limits, but it hasn't tipped on us yet. For a home slide the height is even suitable for my (now) 10 year old, and the 3 & 5 year olds love it as well. Points off for assembly, and to be honest, the look of the thing. It is such an eye sore! It's so bright, this neon green and orange thing! I wish it was offered in a dark green or any color that would fit into the landscape a bit better. We have it outside against the backdrop of the woods and it stands out; it practically glows. For the price, it was a fantastic investment -- however when be bought it, it was about half of its current price ($399 now). For that amount I would save up a little more and buy a whole outdoor play set with the attached slide. But if money is not a problem for you, and you are just looking for a sturdy and entertaining slide (we specifically bought it to have an indoor slide during the winter months or rainy days; fits in the 8ft ceiling basement, although the kids can touch the ceiling if they stand on top -- and they do try and stand!) --- then this is a decent purchase imo.

Pros
  • My kids love it!!!
Cons
  • Requires constant monitoring to assure safety
