but it seems like a great little tent

**Editing my review because this tent deserves it.**For starters, I took this tent backpacking summer 2017 and it was fantastic - easy to assemble, lightweight, and plenty of room for myself (5'10 woman) and two dogs (74 and 85 lbs). I had never gone backpacking before and wasnt looking to break the bank purchasing supplies in case it wasnt my niche. This tent was affordable and allowed me to test drive backpacking without going broke - and it worked great! Here is where this tent really came through:This past summer, my sister and I went camping. There were two of us and three large dogs. We had a larger tent that we had planned to share but I brought this tent just in case it was too crowded and then we could have two tents to share. The first night at around 11 o'clock, the skies unleashed their fury and opened the floodgates. We were literally sitting in about 2 inches of water by 2 AM. At around 4, we couldn't stand it any longer. We got up, got in the car with three soggy doggies, drove an hour to Walmart, got an air mattress, some blankets and pillows and of course, some coffee, and drove back to camp. It had stopped raining but was so misty that I could barely see my sister if she was more than 10 feet away. We knew that our tent was not going to try any time soon. We spent a little while creating a lean to (because we were not going to allow ourselves to be victims of the rain more than once) and set up this little tent. We put the air mattress in it with our dry blankets and had a nap. We stayed in this tent for the next three days WITH our three dogs inside each night. It was crammed but we called it cozy. the tent now exhibits some (unavoidable) signs of wear but overall, it really came through on that trip. We stayed dry and comfortable and I really have no complaints about this tent. For the money, I say it's worth it. We will never forget that trip or how this little tent saved our butts.Original review: I have not officially taken it camping yet, but it seems like a great little tent! The poles are perhaps not as sturdy as some tents I have had in the past but as soon as I set it up yesterday (which only took about 2 minutes! Hooray!) my sisters dog leaped on it and it managed to survive that so here's hoping that it can handle some wind and weather. Seems to be well made and the shape makes it easy to pack away. Lightweight and portable. As far as the size, I could definitely see fitting two people in it and having some room left to put some gear; that being said you should probably be prepared to snuggle. I am planning on taking it backpacking with two dogs and there should be plenty of room for myself and my 85lb Great Pyr mix and my 60 lb Shepherd mix. I am 5'10 and it suited me well but I would say if you are over 6'2 it might be a little on the short side. For backpackers it seems like a good deal though. Can't wait to try it out on the trail!

Pros
  • ‎24.5 x 6 x 4.5 inches
Cons
  • Not very high-quality compared to other camping tents on the market
