I really like this bike basket. The basket is lightweight & easy to attach & remove. Even though it is lightweight it is very sturdy. The handles lie flat in the basket when folded down. There is a lot of room in the basket to carry quite a bit. I can see a small dog fitting in the basket. It's fine. Stitch work is falling apart and isn't complete in certain areas. Basket was easy to install. Have had no problem so far with the locking mechanism as others have indicated. Good for small shopping, biking accessories ( jackets, helmet, etc), picnic items. For those who are unsure what the long black plastic pieces are for…since the basket is collapsible they are to be inserted on the sides to hold the basket up (so it doesn’t collapse when you get it down on a hard surface). This basket is not recommended for e-bikes because of all the things hanging off the handle bar. E-bikes have a mounting plate for baskets and racks, but I didn't like any of the baskets made for them.I made a bracket to hold this basket and I love it. The basket easily comes off to take into the store and goes back on just as easy. On this trip I carried a 5 lb bag of sugar and 4 cans of frozen fruit juice.

I wasn't sure the basket would fit in between the cables on my bike, but it did with ease. The basket was fairly easy to install. I do like to get a grocery sack in a bike basket, but I will be limited on the weight of the items with this one. According to the specifications in the description, I shouldn’t have ordered this. It wasn’t supposed to fit the handlebars nor the handlebar post. The photos convinced me to take a chance that it would work with my wife’s bike. It is a perfect fit. The description didn’t mention that it came with spacers to accommodate thinner handlebars. The thickest spacers made a great fit. Best part- my wife likes it more than what she asked for. I bought the deluxe model with the pockets and rain cover.

Really liked the basket so bought a second one for my wife. Unfortunately that one had a problem with it locking in place. The little dimple on the mount that slides out would not retract completely prevenring the basket to seat properly. The replacement customer service sent took a week to arrive when new orders arrived in 2 days. In the replacement hardware two of the screws would not fit the Allen wrench included. When you put the basket on the bike the locking mechanism stops it from going on smoothly, I have to press the little gray locking tab in to fully seat the basket on the harness then lock the basket in place.
