Basket was easy to install. Have had no problem so far with the locking mechanism as others have indicated. Good for small shopping, biking accessories ( jackets, helmet, etc), picnic items. For those who are unsure what the long black plastic pieces are for…since the basket is collapsible they are to be inserted on the sides to hold the basket up (so it doesn’t collapse when you get it down on a hard surface). Appears to be made well. Happy about my purchase
