My wife and I have been using them for a few weeks now and are very happy with the design and performance of the canisters. The glass is thick but very transparent so you can easily see what's inside. I've knocked them around quite a few times and dropped one of the big ones off the rack onto the floor and they're still like new. There are no scratches or cracks. The lids fit snugly, attaching the lid to the container is easy. Much better than some of the plastic containers we have where one or two sides are not clamped because the container itself is not strong or deformed. The product information that came with the containers said they are not suitable for oven or microwave containers with lids and I can understand why - the silicone seal is very soft. It's great for sealing, but not microwaveable. You shouldn't be refrigerating things with lids on containers anyway, it's dangerous. Pressure cookers are required for this. The containers stack neatly one inside the other and are bulky but easy to store. We will definitely be buying another set and getting rid of some of the plastic containers.
