Update: Customer service was excellent and sent me a new set when I spotted the chip. Since then almost every piece of the dingle has broken! I will throw away the whole set! My pyrex doesn't chip, but the edges are too thin and they don't insert properly, so they're very weak. Grrr So far so good! I chose not to buy her plastic, it doesn't have the same properties as glass. With them they can be washed in the dishwasher, oven, microwave and freezer, the lids can of course only be put in the freezer, but not in the oven, microwave or dishwasher. I bought these in early April last year and then used them for my daily office lunch and home storage. I bought these to freeze a batch or two of things like homemade tomato sauce after making a large batch, so the "small" containers are just what I need. Bigger isn't always better, but I use these larger ones for cooking dinner. Updated Review: BAYCO shipped replacement bins after our initial purchase/test and so far they are working fine and mostly working as advertised. Was happy with the customer service and they took care of us after the initial bad experience. The lids aren't very tight so there's some leakage at times, but for the most part we use them with no issues. My wife and I have been using them for a few weeks now and are very happy with the design and performance of the canisters. The glass is thick but very transparent so you can easily see what's inside. I've knocked them around quite a few times and dropped one of the big ones off the rack onto the floor and they're still like new. There are no scratches or cracks.
