I bought it for the company with the EOS M6 - although before that the camera was diligently sought out without it - I even thought that the M6 could take the "body", but then changed my mind and took it in the "whale". If you didn’t like everything, I’ll give it back - that’s what I thought, but the overpayment, it seems, is small. But I suddenly liked the lens: not only with a small size and weight (not like a 22mm, but also compact), but also with a nice picture. Blurring is soft and pleasant - without "scales" from the overlapping contours of background objects, chromatic aberration does not spoil the picture much, "hares" are not as subtle as on the 18-55 before. At the "short end" it is only necessary to slightly tighten the diaphragm. Focal lengths turned out to be more convenient 18-55 too. Plus, the minimum focusing distance is almost point-blank, so you can take pictures of every little thing too. Plus an excellent stub that allows you to put up with a low aperture ratio. The latch, which is scolded by everyone (similar to the 11-22mm lens), turned out to be not so terrible, if you can get used to it with your bare hands. In general: recommended. If there is a choice of 15-45 or 18-55 - definitely in favor of 15-45.
