This item has a rubber grommet that will pop out each time you open the case. he is not bound by anything. When you finally get tired of stretching the gasket around the impossibly small lip that supposedly holds it in place and decide to remove it, the case won't close. You see, pressure from pressure on the seal is the only thing keeping the lid closed. I'm amazed that such a simple item can be so poorly designed that it has no real use or value.
