I have a herniated disc and a bone spur on my knee and needed to find a low-impact cardio workout that would not hurt my joints, knees and back. After doing some research, the rebounder is the ultimate form of cardio. NASA has studied and touted the benefits of rebounding. It's effective yet gentle on the body!I started searching for a rebounder last November but the negative reviews discouraged me from purchasing one. I decided to search again during Revain's Prime Day this year. I've looked at almost every rebounder and decided not to purchase one with metal springs because once they break, they're useless. However, the newer models are made with bungee cords, which can be easily replaced and purchased on Revain. After reading reviews for several rebounders made with bungee cords, I finally decided on the Darchen Rebounder. Some brands can cost $200 - $400 and I did not want to make that investment. But Darchen's is fairly affordable and I knew that I could always return it if I was unhappy with it.It was time-consuming to assemble and you will need some strength to put it together. I'm a female and in my forties, but I was able to do it on my own. It is very important to watch the how-to video. I positioned the bungee cord and tool against the frame, while I watched the video and followed the instructions. Once you get the hang of using the tool, it's not that complicated to assemble. Please make sure to follow the assembly pattern exactly, alternating the bungee cords diagonally. Otherwise, the jumping mat will not be attached properly and can possibly break. Some of the metal legs were not easy to attach to the metal frame but I was patient and eventually was able to attach them properly. I recommend tightening them before and after each workout because they can become a little loose. It's also lightweight but sturdy. I can easily move it from one room to another.I've been using it now for 3 weeks and this rebounder is durable and fun to use! I use it almost everyday and don't wake up in pain in the morning. You can find many workouts on YouTube. I prefer the beginner rebounder workouts from "AngieFitness TV." The instructor breaks down beginner moves, so that you can feel safe and confident on it. I plan to do the rebounder workouts into my 90s. Happy Rebounding!
