I've been filling the water tank of my fifth wheel with a garden hose for 2 years and I encounter back pressure that builds up and then water shoots back at me. Reading the forums I found out about these little things and that they actually go into the tank to help relieve pressure just around the hose. In my use I've gotten mixed results with it. An idea is great, when it is thought it is great. My problem is that the length of the hose is not enough for it. The orange and black parts of the valve are strong enough that I'm not at all concerned about their function. Travel is nice to have there. I'll probably replace the hose with something about a foot longer so it reaches the tank. I understand this may not be a problem for everyone as all transporters are different so I can't really smash the product and it does what it's supposed to do.
