For the whole day, every day. This powder is my favorite. I have enough coverage over moisturizer, primer or sunscreen. My daughter uses it too. I've used it over tinted BB cream as well as foundation and it works well here. I don't like the supplied sponge applicator, I replace it with a powder puff that I buy in a pack of 3 at ULTA or in the drugstore. . You can also use a brush if you like brushes. It's good value and works well, the packaging is cheap but at this price it's not a problem! I use N-1 for my fair, slightly pink skin, my daughter uses the same shade with her more golden skin. Really neutral and quite translucent so perfect color matching is not required.
