Review on πŸ‘’ Optimized Arma Cross Country Boots - Front by Jacob Kuntz

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect fit for my pony

I just used these boots for the triathlon this weekend and loved them. I have a 14-handed cross-country Haflinger x Quarter Horse that has short and thick legs. As a rule, everything marked "horse" suits him, and he takes on a medium size in ordinary medical boots. I ordered horse size thinking they would fit as usual but they were too big. Exchanged them for a piston size as recommended by the brand and they fit great. They don't slide at all. The tendon-covering back has firm sides but nice padding on the inside so they have strong support without chafing. I ran them knee deep in water and they didn't get damaged and dried very quickly (although it was 98 degrees outside which helped them dry). Even in sweat, on muddy trails, and in the water, they didn't chafe or move. They're not as open in the front as I initially thought, but they're just enough in the front for my horse to know if he's bumped into the railing, while still providing protection so he doesn't get bruised when he hits the big logs . .I hope they will stand up to constant use over time. I've been using them for competitions all weekend and they've done great so I think they'll hold up.

Pros
  • Protection: tendon protector protects both flexor tendons and ankle straps
Cons
  • Clarity
