I think it's a decent price and acceptable quality. It feels satisfyingly heavy in hand and the metal construction is good. I like the physical power button and the clearly labeled ports. The menus and settings work, but they're a bit confusing in their layout and interaction. But it has a decent set of basic and useful voice recording features. Built-in memory and rechargeable batteries are very convenient. I've tried this for both conversation and music apps. (I'm a musician and a music teacher.) The recording quality is very clear and stable for speech both up close and across the room. The buttons are very "squishy" and very loud in the recording when pressed. There is also quite a bit of noise during operation. But as long as the recorder is still, that's not a problem. It captures the essence when used on instruments at a distance, but it doesn't sound as good and is too sensitive for instruments up close. This is clearly best for the voice, not instruments.
