Updated software/firmware, powerful features and choices, 16GB only (not 48GB)

This recorder worked, although it took time and patience. What I like about it is that it can record in both WAV and MP3 format and the date and time can be changed. (Another item I bought and therefore returned does not save date/time changes.) It says 48GB but you need an extra TF card which is not included. (The printed manual says you can contact the seller and he will send the TF card.) Its software/firmware is pretty up to date (June 2021) and its features are pretty powerful. For…

Bulky and slow. suitable for digital voice recorders

If you're looking for a voice recorder that starts recording when you say (press the record button) then this isn't it. This recorder takes 10 seconds each time to start recording. This Garmay recorder works, it has decent sound even with 3 quality bands of 32Mbps, 64Mbps or 128Mbps. I couldn't find a voice activation setting that suits my needs. Using a registrar is weird.

The USB cable that came with the recorder was intermittently broken. That really hampered the learning process. The device creates a "RECORD” folder where all voice recordings are saved. They talk about the music file/folder but don't show anything. You can create other folders through the computer; However, you cannot write directly to these folders. All recordings are saved in the RECORDING folder - then you need to use your computer to move the file to the folder where you want to save the…

Suitable for general voice recording. Convenient and decent functionality.

I think it's a decent price and acceptable quality. It feels satisfyingly heavy in hand and the metal construction is good. I like the physical power button and the clearly labeled ports. The menus and settings work, but they're a bit confusing in their layout and interaction. But it has a decent set of basic and useful voice recording features.
