I purchased this car seat for our Maltese mix, Baby Lilly, for our trip from California to Lake Charles, Louisiana. blind and deaf. I needed to find a car seat for her that would make her feel safe, secure and comfortable at the same time, with enough room for her to move around and not feel restricted because we would be traveling such a long distance. .This car seat was PERFECT! It offered everything I wanted for my girl! We have 2 furry little sisters who used to be very close, they did everything together until Lilly went blind and deaf a few months before our trip in May 2022. Unfortunately, when our 13 year old lost her sight and hearing, she collided with her sister, leading to fights between the furry little sisters. Unfortunately we now had to make sure we keep them separate. a car seat that gave me everything I needed to keep Lilly, my precious blind/deaf fluffy baby, safe on the long drive and anytime we were taking her anywhere except the upcoming trip. To give Lilly the opportunity to travel safely and in style, and to set boundaries so there is no chance of arguing with her 12-year-old sister, who just so happens to be another Maltese. Answer to my prayers! In the end it turned out great! Gathering was easy! There was a lot of space inside! It turned out to be a lot bigger than I expected. With zippers on both sides, it can be placed on either side of the back seat. It was very easy to get Lilly in and out of the car seat. Loved the fact that after closing the side we also had access to Lilly's touch and comfort through the opening on the side that opens and closes with a drawstring. It's well done! With thick, durable mesh, it lets air circulate and keeps you cool. In addition, it allows you to easily monitor your child. I only have one negative thing to say about this closed car seat: it has no padding or cushions whatsoever. If you don't have a bed, you can feel the frame. I would recommend to anyone buying this enclosed car seat that you have a small to medium sized dog bed to ensure your fur baby is very comfortable. Otherwise it is negative. It's worth buying! I would recommend this to any parent of pets! Especially if you have a fur baby with some kind of disability. Lilly and I love this closed car seat!
