Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Asus Prime A320I-K Mini ITX Motherboard: AMD Ryzen AM4, DDR4, M.2, HDMI, Gigabit LAN, USB 3.1 Gen1 by Ronald Dimatulac

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The product came in an open box.

If the description shows that it is an openbox item, it would be good. However, I was led to believe that I was buying something new. Items in open packaging must be offered at a discount and stated as new in the description. The RAM slots are very close to the CPU, so close that with the 3200g I'm using with the default cooling solution, I can't use the next RAM slot, so I'm currently running with just one DIMM installed. This is not a necessary consequence of using Mini-ITX. I recently bought an ASRock A520M-ITX/ac board and this was not a problem despite using the same RAM and CPU/cooler. This A320I-K board needed just a millimeter more play and the piston would fit. I also reviewed the A520M-ITX/ac board due to its rather misleading description which led me to purchase this board. The rest of the motherboard still works perfectly. I was able to boot Linux. I am using AMD 3200g for anyone curious. If I encounter other issues I will update this review.
