It's even smaller in person. If you're a single person and have a block of cheese, this might work for you. It's too heavy to pack and have a picnic. The cheese knives that came with the set are cute and huge compared to the board. Not good quality either. I laughed when I opened the box and saw a board the size of a toddler.
