I have tried several different neck pillows in the past and have not been happy with any in the past or found it difficult to get used to. But I had some nerve problems and they told me to try again. I stumbled across it and loved the unique design and thought the price was worth it. When he arrived I feared the worst. It was smaller than I thought from the pictures and it's rare for vacuum packed things to be strong enough after expansion. But I cut it open and figured, while that's not all, the small size would allow it to fit on my head while I watch TV. I opened it up early enough to let it sit for a few hours before trying it. First thoughts when I put my head on it were that it wouldn't be hard enough. but after a few minutes I wasn't slumping much anymore, the pillow is well shaped and provided the support I needed without feeling like I was contorting to accommodate their odd shape. I've used (sometimes 3) pillows to sleep on since I was a kid. Well, now I could toss two of these in the closet, and I'm more comfortable than before with all the extra fluff. It offers the support I need but is comfortable enough that I don't feel like it's forcing me into one position. I've had this pillow for about a month now and I've had the best sleep in years. I no longer wake up with a headache or a stiff neck, and I even seem to wake up less and toss and turn less now. , maybe this is what you were looking for. I know that's how it was for me.
