I usually have a lot of reusable deli containers at home because I like to send leftovers home with my daughter. Sometimes those containers don't come back, so now I need to stock up on something that won't cost a fortune or fall apart on the way from point A to point B. Years. First, they are microwave and dishwasher safe. Also, I love the fact that they're BPA-free, so I know I won't be unknowingly adding any toxins to my family's food. What makes them so much better than my recycled, reusable deli containers is a number of things. First, they are much thicker. They don't bend, flex, or shrink (sometimes to the point where the lid pops off) like my deli containers did. They have a nice print on the sides, which makes them more ergonomic and comfortable to grip. They also have graduated sizes on the side so you know exactly how much product you're putting in. But what I like best is the screw cap. This is by far the most fantastic feature of this product. Love the fact that I can send my daughter home with soups and sauces knowing that if I screw it tight it won't leak. The lid doesn't come off when she picks it up and takes it out of the fridge, and it doesn't come off during transport. It stays on and keeps everything much fresher and safer. My daughter said she likes them so much that she's starting to make her own supplies - the ones I send her home, of course.
