Review on 🔦 H4 ECE High/Low Beam Halogen Conversion Headlamp Kit - HELLA 002395801 Vision Plus 165mm, 12V by Charles Alvey

I recently purchased Hella H4 E-Codes from Revain for my 2001 Jeep Wrangler. Living in Alaska, good headlights are vital to me. I originally considered buying LEDs, but they tend to get covered in snow and ice because they don't generate enough heat. And it's crazy to spend over $500 on heated trucks (IMHO). With the standard 55/60W bulbs that came with the headlights I didn't have high expectations. But they were definitely met and exceeded. It really doesn't compare to crappy old headlights. I particularly like the spread of the low beam. Given that a moose or other type of wildlife can jump onto the road at any moment, I like that the shoulder and much of the road is well lit. And the high beam really shines where I want it. But these lights don't defy physics. They are not really "brighter" than other 55/60W incandescent bulbs. They just make MUCH better use of the available light. I may one day upgrade the wiring harness to accommodate 80/100 watt bulbs, but if I do it's just for fun. They provide all the light I need.
