These are very good napkins for the price and I will have no hesitation in putting them on my holiday table. This is the third set of napkins I've ordered from Amazon. I returned the 1st set because of the color and the 2nd set because of poor quality and sloppy tailoring. Both sets were polyester and felt cheap. This set is made from 100% cotton for the appearance of a lightweight canvas. I am very happy with it. The color is a rich berry red, perfect for Christmas. They are well done. The seams are even, the corners are beveled, as it should be. All pre-wash wipes were 19.75 to 20 inches in both directions. They have only shrunk in one direction and at 1/2" max. I can see there are some complaints about the ironing - well, they are 100% cotton. You can expect them to be ironed just like linen. The trick though is taking them out of the dryer when they're still a little damp and they iron perfectly with a flat iron on the cotton setting.One pass with a hot iron.Second photo shows the stitching and a rally in the corner is perfect Some of the napkins came out of square after I washed them, but when you take them out of the dryer, especially when they're still damp, you can fold them in half, match the corners, and stretch them in any direction you like should be straight again Last photo of a stack of three after washing and ironing Not perfect but nice enough for guests and worth the price!
